Shower Doors & Glass Enclosures in Boynton Beach, FL

Frameless glass shower partition in a modern marble bathroom

Boynton Beach is where this service started. The city mixes older single-story homes east of I-95, Intracoastal and downtown condos, and large planned and active-adult (55+) communities to the west. Each comes with different bathrooms and different rules.

What we hear about in Boynton Beach

Tub-to-glass upgrades in condos and villas, often replacing an aging framed slider (tub glass doors).
Walk-in showers with a fixed panel in 55+ communities, where a low or no curb matters (enclosures & panels).
Frameless upgrades during bathroom remodels (frameless doors).

HOA and condo approval

Many Boynton Beach communities have HOA or condo associations. Their rules often require an alteration request, proof of the installer's insurance, or limits on work hours before a contractor can start. Check your documents or ask management before scheduling.

Hard water and glass care

Hard-water spotting on shower glass is a common complaint in South Florida. Squeegee after each shower, and ask about factory-applied protective coatings (see the glass guide). Your water utility's annual water quality report lists hardness.

Some addresses with a Boynton Beach mailing address are in unincorporated Palm Beach County rather than the city. That can matter if a remodel needs a permit.

Safety glazing: glass in shower and tub enclosures is a "hazardous location" under the Florida Building Code, Residential, so it must be safety glazing, which for shower doors almost always means tempered glass (2023 Florida Building Code, Residential (8th ed.), Section R308.4.5 Glazing and wet surfaces; Florida Building Commission, Analysis of Changes, 8th Edition (2023) FBC-Residential). Federal rules in 16 CFR Part 1201, Safety Standard for Architectural Glazing Materials (eCFR) cover safety glazing used in shower and bathtub doors and enclosures. Look for the permanent tempered-glass mark (the "bug") in a corner of each panel.
